Prayer & Revival

Another "unconventional" aspect of Living Stones Fellowship is in the area of worship and prayer. We do not have a worship "band" as many churches do, although we do have a goal to increase our worship team and to bring forward the glorious praise of God with excellence. But the goal is not to improve the "entertainment" aspect of the worship service, but rather use music as a tool to bring the Body into the presence of God to worship and praise Him and to PRAY. Worship and prayer must be inseparable. We might do things a bit differently than other churches because the "worship service" is simply a precursor to usher in a time of corporate prayer. Jesus said His house should be called a house of prayer for all nations, yet most times it is the thing we do the least in our weekly service times. So many churches have lost sight of that mandate. Our worship service is focused on getting to the place where we can begin to discern the very heart of God and begin to cry out on behalf of those things which concern HIM! In a nutshell, all of our worship and prayer is aimed at one objective: REVIVAL! We are seeking to see a revival in Kansas City that will change the spiritual climate of our city, unite believers across every denominational and racial barrier, and see the kingdom of God explode all across this city!
